![]() ![]() ![]() I'm getting better at it, but not quite there yet. One day I hope to be able to write a read-me file which is crystal clear. When I finally finished the last Hesu update and actually counted the patches, my jaw dropped lol. Thank you very much! It's nice of you to share that. Try throwing something else in there and things break. Until then you have 7 choices where Seaside-Cliffs patching is concerned. I will return to expand on options for people to choose from. AFK patch should be ok to use in conjunction, IIRC it doesn't touch any of the same cells as the Cliffs patches. That means either the Seaside-Cliffs main patch OR one of the variants. You should use only one of them, as each makes very different changes to the area. I made a few variants of the Cliffs-Seaside patch (which also account for OOO, Kragenirs, Sides Sailing, Thieves Grotto, etc). Anything else thrown into the mix is going to require a dedicated patch of it's own, which also includes that specific content. The problem here, as we've discussed previously, is 3rd party content overlapping the game cells edited by the Seaside-Cliffs patch. RST makes major changes in the docks area. In fact there is no Cliffs-Seaside variant which includes RST at all. But there is no patch variant which addresses using them all together. You use at least two mods (OOO,RST) which would overlap the main area being patched. It’s safe to say that the job was done as properly as can be, as this mod currently “fixes over 2,500 bugs and 70,000 object placement errors”, as its description reads.Ī must-have mod if you plan to play the game in the 2020s and beyond – even if you don’t want to install any other mods on your game.Your second to last line narrows in on the problems. This mod was made by the community to help fix Oblivion as a whole. ![]() However, denying that the game was buggy as hell would be like trying to cover the sun with your thumb. I’m just ranking them lower on my list to raise your attention towards them first – they’ll really help you make other mods on this list work much better. To start off the list, though, I’ve added three mods in my early spots that are actually rated really high by the community. I’ve only added a handful of those, as I really wanted to focus on other types of mods like gameplay changes, new additions, stuff like that. And in this post I’m keen to share my picks for the best Oblivion mods with all you TES fans!īefore I begin, let me just point out that there are many Oblivion mods that tweak certain technical aspects of the game. Oblivion changed my perception of mods and why they can be fantastic additions to a game. And since then, I haven’t been able to play any of my favorite single-player games without mods again. The first time I tried to play Oblivion with mods was back in 2008. Is Oblivion the best Elder Scrolls game ever made? Yes. ![]()
